Special Educational Needs
Rainbow Day Nurseries endeavours to ensure that all children are given opportunities to thrive and progress. We enable all children to fully access exciting learning opportunities and experiences by providing a curriculum that responds to the individual development of each child. We work closely with parents and other agencies to monitor the child’s progress carefully and provide effective, additional support to meet the child’s needs. Through early identification, robust assessment and support, we will ensure that children receive appropriate interventions to ensure progress. Invitations to learning are modified, and reasonable adjustments are made where necessary to ensure equity. We are committed to providing an inclusive environment where children are cared for and educated to develop to their full potential.
We follow the cycle of assess, plan, do, review to ensure that there are targeted, planned interventions for the child to make progress.
Across our nurseries we have dedicated trained staff that have attained the Level 3 Award for Special Educations Needs Coordinators in Early Years Settings.
