Early Years Educator, Langdon Road

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and caring educator to work in our Langdon Road branch.  Our Nursery Practitioner will be expected to support the staff team with the planning, observation and assessment . You will assist in providing  stimulating and varied inclusive learning opportunities for all, ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.

Rainbow Day Nurseries has been established for over 20 years, priding ourselves in providing high quality, stimulating, sustainable and natural environments for children aged 4 months – 5 years. While dedicating ourselves to raising the standard in Early Years.

Skills and knowledge

  • Ability to provide and maintain a high quality, stimulating outdoor learning environment,
  • To plan and prepare purposeful learning opportunities using a range of creative approaches which foster curiosity.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team, sharing experience and communicating effectively.
  • Provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
  • An understanding of the EYFS and experience working with children within the early years.
  • A Level 3 full and relevant qualification in Early Years Childcare.
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
  • A secure understanding of the EYFS and development matters.
  • An enthusiastic, positive and proactive attitude to work.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work in partnership with parents.
  • Comply with all Rainbow Day Nurseries’ policies and procedures.
  • To participate in training and other learning activities/meetings as required.
  • Hold an appropriate first aid qualification or be willing to undertake one.
