Baby Room Leader , qualified Level 3 Educator, West Wickham

We are recruiting for an skilled and experienced Nursery Room leader to manage a 15 place baby room in our West Wickham nursery. This is a great opportunity for an established room leader looking for a new challenge, or perhaps an Early Years educator looking to progress in their career and step into a leadership position.

Ability to provide and maintain a high quality, stimulating learning environment,
To plan and prepare purposeful learning opportunities using a range of creative approaches which foster curiosity both indoors and out.
Ability to motivate, inspire and support the team around you
Provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
To assist in the development and support of other staff members by communicating effectively, sharing knowledge, experience and delegating tasks appropriately
To co-operate and work effectively with the manager, taking on additional responsibilities/duties where necessary and positively promoting developments in policies and procedures to team members.

Requirements

A Level 3 full and relevant qualification in Early Years Childcare.
Experience of working with under 2’s.
Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
A secure understanding of the EYFS and development matters.
An enthusiastic, positive and proactive attitude to work.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work in partnership with parents.
Comply with all Rainbow Day Nurseries’ policies and procedures.
To participate in training and other learning activities/meetings as required.
Hold an appropriate first aid qualification or be willing to undertake one.
