Our training day this year focused on four areas main areas to enhance the continued professional development of our staff. The managers were instrumental in identifying key areas of theory and practice which would have a positive impact on the high-quality provision that is provided. The staff attended morning sessions across the nurseries, delivered by our managers, on Nurturing babies, introduction to the curiosity approach, developing practice outdoors and planning for effective learning opportunities. After a well-earned lunch, provided by our amazing nursery cooks, the teams took elements of the training back to their own nursery and disseminated and implemented, given us a consistent approach throughout.
